Hello People and
Robots(I do believe they exist and the Governments of the world are lying to us!)
I've been meaning to make a publication of this sort since this became a trend and it's one trend that has resulted in a lot of wrong match-ups and I really feel bad for the future of fashion. (Insert
mourning sad emoji here)
This is the front slit trend which involves more of frontal or side slits than actual center slits. Here's the thing, the first fundamental mystery of the Front slit Swagger is
"The Slit cannot be situated at the back" (any other place, side and front-ish, is alright). The front slit comes in different slit types, curved, zipper, wide-open, and the ultimately popular "whorish'.
Side Slit
This involves high-waist short (knee-length)skirts, maxi (down to the ground) skirts, and free penciled-like trousers, Then we have the ever so beautiful maxi dresses or do you choose the shorter ones? It's quite simple to pair these accessories up. The different ways are;
-High-waist skirt with large tops (Preferably tucked in)
-Penciled-like trousers (denim)could go with a simple top and a leather jacket, if you are targeting the grunge look or cooperate Chiffon tops and the like if you are just plain like that. There are also free fitted jeans that reach all the way down to your feet, these can be worn with heels to show of the shoes and elevate you off the ground.
- Maxi skirt, the bloated types with equally bloated tops (could be tucked in depending on the material,
View "Rules of the Chiffon Swag") or maxi skirts and fitting shirts.
- Maxi dresses just need great shoes, mostly sandals; they could be heeled or not.

Center slit
This particular fashion statement has a lot involved , it is more popular in the more mundane sense that a front slit should be at the center but many at times it is hard to master. Even the big names in the Entertainment Industry find it hard to master(except, of course, you're Angelina Jolie). Here are a few tips:
- If you must wear Center pleated denim, make sure it is casual even if you choose to wear pumps. or else....(oh well....)
-High-waist Center pleats call for a demarcation of some sort and that's where you choose from large belts to thin belts but there just has to a noticeable demarcation.
